I have a '01 9-3 SE with 4,600 miles. I love the car, great performance fuel economy, all service up to 30,000 miles included in the purchase price. (9-3 doesn't include free service). If you don't like the soft suspension, the SE comes with sport suspension and lower profile tires 205/55/16.

Base 9-3 has 185 hp vs SE has 205 hp. More standard equipment and I think an overall better value.

Honda, Camry boring and every driveway has one (sometimes more) !.
