I had always wanted a Saab from the time I first started driving. I had also always heard they were problematic and expensive to maintain... I finally broke down and said screw it, I just wanted one soooo bad I would deal with the drawbacks...THERE WERE NONE!

That was in 1995 when I bought my first 900S brand new. I was driving down the auto mile and was not even in the market for a car. Fifteen minutes later I was calling my husband at work to bring his VW in for a trade. I have never ONCE regretted it. I LOVED my Saab, I loved it sooo much that again I was driving down the auto mile, again not in the market for a new car and BAM! I was buying a brand new 9-3SE (steel gray with charcoal leather she is a beauty). I have been nothing but thrilled with Saab so far. VERY reliable, much more so than the VW's and Subaru's we have owned in the past. We actually kept our 900S and got rid of our Subaru Legacy because it was so problematic and unreliable (this was a 1998). My Saab 900S is a 96 and I have only done routine maint on it, no other problems at all. So far the 9-3 has been flawless too.

Bottom line I was a car slut before I got Saab. I would be lusting after a new and different car on the way home from picking up a brand new car from the dealer. When i bought my first Saab I found car monogamy. I never thought I would see the day where I would buy the same car twice (basically the 900 and the 9-3 are the same). I have never once regretted buying either car. They are so well designed and built. And with the current deals they are a hell of a lot of car for the money. I would not be caught dead in a Honda, or Toyota, they are jus way tooo BLAH! Saabs are just classic, classy and very unique.

Go for it, you won't be sorry.
