by prying the handle cover from underneath. Granted, it still may have left a small mark, but this could easily have been smoothed over. I pulled my door trim several times while installing speakers so I know there are very simple, speedy ways to avoid this.
It all comes down to the integrity of the mechanic. I wonder if he stopped to ask himself, 'What is the end price of turning off this customer?'
In the grand scheme of things this is very minute but it made Alex think - If this is an example, what might happen on a big repair? These people should know Saab owners are very particular about their cars.
