Well not really... Posted by bender [Email] (#268) [Profile/Gallery] (more from bender) on Sun, 6 Jan 2008 20:30:03 In Reply to: Re: thermostat (sorry, a little descriptive), CM, Sat, 5 Jan 2008 22:43:02 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Everything works fine, except for the gauge. It has always pointed in the 9 o'clock direction, as it should be, and I've been concerned since it stared to fluctuate. Yeah, I can see it being more of a concern if it moves up, but regardless it shouldn't be doing it. So, since the temp sensor unit has been replaced, who knows, it may for all be the t-stat, which will solve the problem. But, if I do this myself, it will have to wait until the end of winter, which is about 3 + months away. Do you saabers think it is appropriate given all that was said, to continue driving the car another 3+ months, or suck it up and have the mechanic replace the t-stat now? If nothing is really prone to damage...i'll wait. That is my only concern....whenever I do replace the t-stat, I will report back.
Thanks for any additional input.
