If you are very careful you can pop off the cover for the bearing with a very sharp pick tool wedged under the inner lip and apply some high heat/strength grease.
I throw in a pinch of grease now and then when I have the belt off and see that the pulley is free spinning too easily. It seems to help the longevity of the upper idler pulley and also tensioner pulley on the V6 serpentine belt.
Keep in mind that the pulleys might not come with the best grease that was ever been invented nor do they have enough in there for long use.
They are only filled enough to make a good profit for the maker of them.
