I've called around the Toronto area, nobody has a sensor in stock, and the dealer wants to order one from Sweden at $250 (!) since there is no stock in North America.
But...the plot thickens...I removed the sensor to try to clean it, and found some oil on the threads and inside the sensor. I cleaned with throttle body cleaner, shook all of the oil out, and gave it time to dry, but I can't get the CEL to extinguish even after removing fuse 17 for about half an hour. At the same time, when I started the car, I found a large area of black soot/oil and when I held my hand in the exhaust fumes it became covered in little drops of sooty oil. Now I'm thinking that the turbo is failing.
I called my mechanic this morning, and he insists that the sensor has to be replaced, and thinks I'm crazy to think that the turbo would fail this soon after he replaced it last year. I think he's trying to avoid replacing the turbo under his 1 year warranty. It's like I have to tow the car in after the turbo explodes before he will believe me.
Could a failing turbo cause P1105 code? Could a failing turbo cause oil fouling in both the intake and exhaust at the same time?
Frustration setting in...
