I tried cleaning the sensor again, and cleared the code by pulling fuses 17 & 28, and the CEL stayed off during a test drive of about 5km.
However, the car seemed a little jerky in some gears, I blew a few puffs of bluish-white smoke during gear changes, and now the turbo is not boosting past the white area of the turbo gauge. I checked the wastegate actuator with a bicycle pump and it opened to about a 45 degree angle towards the driver's' side of the car. (normal when engine is off is straight up). I could hear either the actuator or the wastegate bottoming out when air was pumped in. I measured the BPC resistance at 9.6ohms, and it makes a clicking noise when the key is moved to the start position.
Does the ECU need more time to "re-learn" or I am looking at something more serious?
Thanks again for all of your help.
