SWEDECAR made an excellent point. I should wait to pass judgment on the Hauwks until my brake booster issue is addressed... if I have one.

I guess I'll search on here to see what other symptoms there are, before I start that project.

Luckily, I have a NIB brake booster, that I bought years ago for my first wife's 01 Viggen convertible. I guess I'll also have to see if it is compatible. BTW, her Viggen got totaled. Paid $26k cash for it in 2003, with 44k miles. Divorced in 2010 and the thing totaled out for just $8500. So, never got to put the new brake booster in.
