Look at your turbo gauge - if it's not moving past the first third of the gauge, you have a problem in your turbo system. Check all the hoses; often it's simply a leak somewhere (typically, though, a leaking hose will have a remarkably significant reduction in boost, and may even cripple your ability to drive more than a few miles per hour, if, let's say, one of the hoses to the intercooler has slipped off). Also, if your catalytic converter is shot, it will also not have the usual boost (loosen the bolts where it connects to the point just after the turbo, and see if there is a difference in acceleration. Also, a common problem with acceleration boost is often felt when the Boost Control Valve is faulty. Any engine codes coming up?
