Hey Justin!
Thanks for the response here. I got your message last year, but forgot to call back. The car has been running OK, and still not being driven much more than 15 miles a day or so. I still haven't had the front alignment checked/adjusted, so I'm hoping the work we did on the rear won't be affected by that. Got some used contis with about 3/4 tread left awhile back, so I've been running with those for awhile for tires.
Thankfully, the body shop just came back and said the code was in fact a driver's side impact sensor. I really wonder if they were just making up the clock spring story from the start. I sure hope there isn't anything else they could mess up that I may not be able to notice before I take the car back ... because at that point I'll be out of luck.
