My low speed radiator fan wasn’t working, so I replaced the resistor. The low speed now works when I jump the relay, but not when in actual usage (driving, idling). (It doesn’t work when I turn the A/C on either, but that may be a separate issue that I’m not currently worried about).
I’ve tried replacing the relays and associated fuses. No luck.
If it were something between the relay and the fan, the jumper trick wouldn’t work. If it was the relay, swapping it should have fixed it. Maybe my soldering job was too shitty for the voltage the relay puts out, but good enough for the jumper voltage?
I’m kind of at a loss here. Anyone have any ideas? Please tell me it’s not an ICE issue
