So basically what we have is a low oil pressure engine in a 2002 viggen. It has obviously puked itself. We have a strong running 1999 T593 motor to put in it. This is all new to me. I basically need the complete run down of doing the swap. I know everything about a classic 900 and the majority of things about a 9000. But when it comes to the newer general motor stuff I know nothing. So we have a 2002 triple black viggen Convertible With what I'm going to assume is a bad motor. So any information would be great. Wanting to do a high horsepower motor. I've done it with a classic 900 and a 9000. So we just figured the next best thing would be a 2.0 motor. I've put a ton of power on a stock 2.0 motor. So we just figured this 2.0 motor would be a better motor than the 2.3 in the convertible. Will the convertibles transmission bolt right up to the 2.0 motor? Will the whole motor drop right in ? Are there any modifications that need to be done once the motor and transmission are dropped in the car? Any input would be great thank you.
