So there in lies the issue the motor is apparently junk. We just happened to have a 2 l motor that we could throw in there. Geez why so violent. And as far as the torque goes on a 2.0 motor I have a 400 horsepower 86SPG. All it does is break transmissions. More than anything we were just curious as to being able to put a 2.0 in the viggen. And I have a 9000 I love that motor, It's about 500 horsepower. So pretty much all these motors can make a ton of power. Specifically the B234. My 9000 is bone stock other than a tune a big Turbo and a front mount intercooler. The other reason for the 2.0 swap was to put It close to 500 horse power in this car. And that is doable with a stock 2.0 out of a T5 93. The bottom end won't withstand those kind of numbers in the viggen motor. Of course that's just what I have read. If anybody else knows different please let me know. I don't know anything about the General Motors era saabs.
