Ok, first off I must thank everyone for their quick responses, this is great to know that I can get some saab help on the net! Second after taking a deep breath here is where I am at.
I was driving the car and the oil light came on, I went to pul over (was going fast on the highway)by the time I pulled off the engine had stopped.
I just got off the phone with my mechanic, and he told me this. The car starts, but sounds like a machine gun "rat tat tat" and is very loud. He thinks that it could be that a connecting rod broke, or a bearing broke (which bearing I do not know, He is going to look at the car in the next few days and see what happened, he might take the oil pan down today and have a fast look. So you all know I did check the oil the minute I stopped that car and it was fine and a nice golden color. I did not smell any burning or hear any loud noises before the car blew. Also the engine sounded fine after he changed the timing belt. Although it did sound a little louder, but not much and I did not drive the car all that much before he got it so I can not be sure.
Now I trust this mecanice 100% if he did something wrong he would have told me, he is like a family member and would not lie to me.
Anyways I hope this helps, any more info would be great!!!
Ron
