the horse has run, but i figure anything may be better than nothing at this point.
since there is no shine on the car at this point, i'm not so concerned with that as keeping it clean and keeping as much paint on there for the forseeable future. i dont mind it looking dull, as long as it runs well.
i will wander down to pep boys or kragens and take a look at the various mothers and meguiars products and see what there is. unless you have some specific products for the 3rd choice option?
and wont all of them remove paint while i'm rubbing wax in? at what point to i get concerned that more is coming off than staying on? (i mean other than obvious like primer showing).
i also assume these would be best done on cloudy day or in shade to lengthen working time right? would warm days help? make any difference in wax spreading/polishing?
i'll take some pics before and after if/when i do this, so at least it might give some people an idea of the results and time to apply and durability.
