so its fine to swtich between regular and synthetic as long as you dont have leaks. And you should use a engine detergent before the switch and switch after 3 or 5k miles after first synthetic. ok thats alot better, a friend told me in order to change to synthetic I had to change my oil with snythetic run the car like 50 miles, change agian, then run 250 miles, change agian, then another 500-1000 then change agian. He says you need to get ALL the old oil out cause if ANY of the old oil mixes with the new synthetic there will be BIG trouble.
so, the stock size filter is fine? I dont usually do alot of stop and go driving, so, the mobil1 would last 10k? Would I have to change the filter (not the oil) after 5k? If I got the larger filter, would it last as long as the synthetic oil?
so no matter what I should be running Mobil1, no reason not to (unless your engine leaks). Cool, thanks guys! :)
