Adam makes a great point in the post below.

The S2000, MR2, and Miata wouldn't even be in existance without the Lotus. You don't seem to understand this concept. Not to mention any other small sports car. Designs like the 'giant American' sports car of the past would be the only designs out there. Any small sports car, even American was influenced by the Brits.

Lotus is not new! Lotus helped create this industry that you're putting down.

And yes, the S2000, Miata, and MR2 are cheesy replicas of what they wish they were... now they get to get stomped by the original.

I know I'll be welcoming Lotus with open arms.

Again, I don't see how you can make a single derogitory comment when it's this fast, this amazingly nimble and agile (or should I say, the BEST), and costs only $39K! If you don't understand it, you shouldn't be driving an automobile, period.
