Not sure what your budget is, but if I were spending the boss's money, I would hit Smith and Wolinsky (50's and 3rd Ave?)or Morton's (47th and Fifth? - don't know the exact addresses) for steaks/prime rib; that may be around $100 each all in. China Grill is also good (55th and 6th?), a younger crowd so girl watching is fun, bar is too small though and spans two dining areas so it only gets two or three deep and people are always passing through. You may be better off in a smaller restaurant as the corporate Christmas parties tend to fill up all the big name places. There is good food all around midtown.

On your way back to your hotel, if its a clear night, go to Rockefeller Center and see the tree, then have a drink at the top of 30 Rockefeller Center (the GE Building) and take in the view (I think its 60+ stories), I always bring out of town friends there. I believe the observation deck was just reopened, so you may be able to go up on Sunday afternoon also. St. Pats Cathedral is right across the street. You can also sit above the waiting room in Grand Central and have a drink at Michael Jordan's, Cipriani's or another place on the other side and take in the rush hour crowd heading home. Great architecture and ambiance for a train station - they really put some work into it thanks to Jackie O.

If you have Monday afternoon free, go to the Ed Sullivan Theater (56th and 7th?) and stand on line for Letterman tickets, if enough people don't show they let last minute stand bys come in. Call for info. Weather is getting cold here though, so thats a summertime thing to do.

Bring money! And have a good time, Manhattan has never looked better and we are proud of it!
