the Subie with slicks or the Saab with snow tires? Personally, I'll take my Saab (with 4 snow tires) over my Jeep (with off road tires) any day. For one, my Saab's brakes kick butt; the Jeep's are terrible. The Saab doesn't want to do a 360/180 when turning, whereas the Jeep does. The Saab is hard to unsettle in the snow and easy to get back in line. The only benefit to the Jeep are hills and high ground clearance. The Jeep's off road tires just don't maintain flexibility at low temperatures. On ice, they're downright scary.
