I don't know much about this system in a residential application, though it is obviously very common in commercial/industrial buildings. There are many alternatives to traditional construction methods, and probably most of them are at least as good, if not better than what we've been doing for a couple of hundred years. The problem is, people tend to get very conservative about such a large investment, so they want to stick to what they know, and build traditional houses. I think the most important thing with using a somewhat unusual construction process is to have a contractor who is experienced in that process. I'm sure they have recommended installers in your area. The other thing I would do, is ask to speak to some people who have built homes with SIPA, in the past. Usually, if people have done something that goes against the tide, and are happy with it, they will be more than willing to share their experience! Where are you planning to build the house? Do you have a building lot?
