...... I got cut off severely on the interstate doing about 75mph by some clown who had come upon slower traffic in the right lane and thought he'd jerk it into the left without looking first. I had a Volvo right on my butt and when I jammed on my brakes the first place I looked was the rearview mirror to see if I was going to get creamed. Fortunately, Volvoguy was an attentive driver. So anyhow, I eventually pass the guy who cut me off about 30 seconds later ( yes I was in the proper passing lane ) and gave the horn a toot while showing him that I thought he was "number one". As soon as he sees the bird he downshifts, stands on the gas and comes after me, gets beside my car, swerves over the center line at me several times, rolls down the window and PUNCHES, yes PUNCHES my sideview mirror. All of this happened while we at about 80mph, my terrified fiancee was in the pax seat and Volvoguy was still hot on my tail. Fiancee grabbed the cellphone and started to dial and as soon as the jerk saw that, he hit his brakes so hard he almost got hit from behind. Took a good 15 minutes for my heartrate to come down after that one. He eventually disappered into the distance behind me while I maitained cruising at 75mph.
