My friend j. recently got an '04 M3...beautiful car, fast 6-speed. I have not driven it yet. He traded up form a 330i. He honestly doesn't like the car much as a daily driver. It's sweet on the highway and 'purrs' in 6th as he say. But it sucks badly in winter..and in Boston thats half the year. He said he's looking forward to getting rid of it in 2-1/2 years when lease is up. That's his honest assessment. I have not driven the car yet...so I am forwarding the comments he's relayed.
