I've checked into just about everything you mentioned, although you did shed a bit more light on the subject...thanks! I've been less than excited about a secured credit card, but I wouldn't hesitate to get one with my bank, so that's definitely an option to explore this weekend.

As for credit cards in general, I will probably be the last person on this earth to abuse something like that. I certainly don't consider it "free money" and I imagine I'll just pay off the balance in full every month so as to not get caught in the trap most other young people fall into. It will only be used for smaller items, such as gas, groceries, etc. Having that said, the interest rate isn't a huge concern.

Again, thanks for the feedback and suggestions. With so much coming at me this next year, I'm really hoping to get the ball rolling in the right direction. Drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
