either way it is a CC which lures many people into debt;-)
not sure I'm understanding this. Up here in Canada a bank will give a student a CC if they have a part time job (you MUSt have employment). But the limit is only $500. When I was in school I used mine for emergency use, eventually upgrading to a regular card through the same bank. It came in handly reserving hotel rooms and such. Interest rates are the same, however some banks up here are doing interest rates at prime with is astounding.
but for Clay, dumping a G to get credit limit is a tough choice I guess.
