not sure if this is what you mean, but your on a lesser side road at a stop waiting to enter the busier road, the little ol lady comes down the busier road waiting to make a left into your road. Naturally she wants to do you a favor and waves you out onto the road, oblivious to the raging traffic rapidly approaching her from behind, who will pass her on the right at around 57 mph without a second thought. Same thing with a four way stop when all cars seem to make it there at the same time and all look at each other for some sort of sign or sizing each other up by car type, sex, urgency based on facial expressions etc. Comical in a way. I believe the rule is the person to your right has the right of way....but >?
