I think I spelled it right. Trembrent in Quebec (It is owned by Intrawest, the same company who owns Whistler/BC) is like a vacation in Europe without that expensive airplane tickets and that Euro conversion rate (USD and CND conversion is better -for us anyway). They speak French, but I bet you can get away with English at ski resort for 3 days.
I'm not sure where you live, but if you live in East coast, you really want to add this resort to your mix. The air fare should be competitive, and the city is one of the most seanic in North America and I bet the ski resort (lodge) is as Euro as North American ski resort(lodge) can get. Your wife will go nuts in this city (romantic, fantasy like, etc) and will thank you for taking her there.
I'm recomending this resort, because seems like the "extreme skiing" isn't your priority, but "vacation" is. (if extreme is what you are after, let me know, I have another suggestions for that)
ayway, have fun.
