you are doing both your dealership's name and the brand a disservice by painting a broad negative picture of a paying customer who has used his first and last name in his original post. Generally, I dont give first time posters alot of credence and I cant find any Saabnet posts under "SAAB GUY" or "SAABGUY" on the this or any of the other BB's here on Saabnet with your IP address. Feel free to explain if you regularly use another name to post to Saabnet.
Anyone who depends on their sled to get to work and/or school on a daily basis is likely to be somewhere on the continuum of upset if they are without reliable transportation, so "Service Advisors" and their managers experience alot of angry and disgruntled customers. It goes with the territory.
We pay alot of money for cars, and commonly get riled up when they break down. When we are not listened to by the same people to whom we bring our cars in order to have the problem diagnosed and repaired, this only exacerbates our attitude toward the situation. If you are in this particular customer service field and cant handle listening to an irate customer vent and complain, I suggest you get out fast. You'll do both the rest us and yourself a HUGE favor.
Human nature being what it is, whether its an irate customer or a cranky service advisor, anyone can have a bad day and say things that simply criticize and demean the person rather than address the situation. Usually, personal attacks are based on nothing more than generalized cultural assumptions about whom they are dealing with at any particular time. I believe stooping to that is just plain cheap and low and crass. Karma will always come back to the person who engages in such behaviour, of that I am sure *lol* Cause I'm not perfect and its happened to me on both sides. =) I suggest trying an apology, its better than a having stroke or heart attack from the built up anger and frustration.
