but none of them are dealers. There are several good shops in the Boston area. See what RedAeroGirl says in her post. Another poster, turrbo, uses a shop in Lawrence that seems very good.
I'm in southern NH and Saabworks lets people bring in their parts and charges about $65 hour. I simply won't have the car serviced anywhere else if I can't or don't want to do the work.
If you are watching your dollars, you simply have to go to a good indy. Develop a relationship and use them all the time and you will be treated very well. Come here to learn about the issues your car may be having and go into the shop armed with the knowledge to ask the right questions. The good shops appreciate this and I find treat you even better. Plus they get to know your car and its own issues so they can advise you on what you need to be thinking about.
FWIW, go to a Saab specialist, not just a general auto repair place. You want to deal with someone who has done the job X00 times and is not learning on your car.
