After ten years (five of them in Hong Kong living about 100 feet from salt water) the stand of our Broilmaster propane grill rotted away. We bought a Genesis Silver (forget A or B) to replace it. The main thing I don't like about the Weber is that the thin body radiates so much heat that things like Pam cans and tools left on the work surface get too hot -- something I never experienced with the heavy cast aluminum body of the Broilmaster. Other than that, we really like the Weber, its just more of a budget box than the Broilmaster was. Our old Broilmaster "Premium 4" was about $500 in 1994 and the comparable model now is about $1,200 - so we joined the Weber crowd. YMMV.
