We've been considering one of those for this season. Our Weber kettle is pretty much on it's last licks and we love the charcoal taste. Probably going to sell the overkill DCS grill that was given to us, or give it to someone.
Question is, does the propane addition help for faster warm up time of the charcoal? Or is it just for an initial lighting of it? Right now we're using one of those charcoal chimney things that you put the coals in and then light with newspaper underneath it. Takes a while, but it's lit very even and ready to go. Seems like a great idea, especially for windy days.
