I have read more than one post about 9-2x loaners and customers not liking it as much as the 9-5.
That is obvious! Not the same type/class/style of car whatsover.
Other than the make there is little to compare.
I love my 9-2x Linear, it replaced our 1987 9000T.
The 9000 had leather seats, turbo, loads of space etc. but was a soft luxury car.
The 9-2x non-turbo has the same horsepower, less weight and is abslolute fun to drive. It is much more responsive and the AWD is a real bonus during the canadian winter.
The doors? yes they 'sound' more flimsy than the 9000T, but the 9000T sounded more flimsy than our 1985 900, the best door of the lot in my humble opinion, especially with the wrap-around sill, but the 9-2x doors are far superior to the doors of my 1975 Triumph TR6.
Conclusion - everything is relative, and I enjoy all the cars I've got for different reasons :-)
P.S. I have been driving the TR6 the last few days in spring like weather, before the next snow storm!
