I've only seen the rumor mill Posted by Scott Paterson [Email] (#13) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Scott Paterson) on Wed, 9 Mar 2005 12:05:34 In Reply to: I agree, dcjayhawk, Wed, 9 Mar 2005 04:49:38 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I haven't seen anything official about anything botched. I've spoken to five dealers on the west coast and one dealer on the east coast who all seem very positive about 9-2X sales. It's similar to this Swedish employee thing and generally comes from sources that have not test driven anything later than a 1993 900. I'm not sure why it is, but I didn't even feel welcome at my own local Saab club event. It seemed every person with a car from 1993 or older had to put some kind of dig in and I think it also represents Saabs realization that its future business is no longer about it's loyal C900 base. It seems pretty obvious to me. It also seems like Saab is in way better shape now than in 1996... But, what do I know.
