Come through Colorado, the Colorado National Monument is spectacular, or maybe the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and the Colorado Plateau, Zion, Arches, or Brice National Parks, come down through Las Vegas, or circle south from Colorado through Four Corners, head for the Grand Canyon, then through Flagstaff, Sedona, Jerome and Prescott, over to San Diego, Tiajuana through Rosarito, the Rosarito Beach Hotel is a classic, to Ensenada Mexico is all freeway and fun. San Diego has the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park and Seaworld, Coronado Gaslamp Historic District, beatiful harbor town it 'tiz, maybe I'll take you sailing in the bay, maybe you'll just wanna' hang out on the Mission Beach Boardwalk.
North past Torrye Pines (do you play golf?) up Coast Hwy 101, stop and say hi in Oceanside, on to Laguna, DisneyLand, over to the coast and Hwy 1 again through Malibu, up to San Luis Obispo, stop at the Madonna Inn and check out the bathrooms, turn onto spectacular Hwy 1 again, past the Hearst Castle, Big Sur, take the 17 mile drive at Pebble beach, Hwy 1 all the way up to the City, San Francisco, cable cars, my favorite restaurant in the world is The Tadich Grill on California St, over the Golden Gate Bridge, up to Wine Country, do Sonoma, not Napa, follow the Russian River Valley out to the coast up to the old Russian Fort Douglass I believe.
Go back over to Lake Tahoe, maybe south to Yosemite, maybe north to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone.
