You could order the building shell from a SIPs (structural insulated panel) manufacturer. The advantage of SIPs over stick construction is much better insulation, air infiltration is minimized, and a weathertight building shell is done in just a few days. Slightly pricier though.
If you take into account your site details and do a passive solar design (which basically dictates orientation and ratios of window area to house size, and that's about it) you'll save big time on heating & cooling and make a more comfortable house at the same time. This works even for a small cabin. Dan Chiras has an excellent book on this you can get on Amazon.com, The title is, "The Solar House: Passive Heating and Cooling": http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1931498121/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=1931498121&linkCode=as2&tag=thesaabnetwork
Or just buy a 30' diameter modern yurt, put it up in a day or two, and build away :-)
