I have read several of your post over the years and got the feeling you were a PE or PM for a construction company or Construction Manager.
I am a operation manager for a speciality mechanical contractor and right now we have no work and i work 50 hours. When we are busy i have a self imposed rule to be at work when the crew arrives, 7am, and stay for at least an half hour after they leave, so when we are working 6x12 the hours rack up quick, thank goodness I'm salary.
