say to his leadership that he would work extra hours without getting extra pay? Now it has become the expectation. American society is becoming all about companies making money by and nothing else. Much of this is from squeezing employees to sacrifice their personal lives and line executives' pockets. There is more to life than money. Here is one of my quotes... "You can always make a dollar later, but you can't make an hour later."
I try to keep my hours to 45 or less. On salary, the more you work, the less you make per hour and in most companies it doesn't translate to higher raises or promotions.
