I unfortunantly haven't been able to watch either F1 race this year but my brother stated the 1st race was very entertaining with lots of passing. No clue on the last race :(
Oval & F1 would be the dumbest thing F1 could do. The cars are simply not made to do ovals & it would totally suck if they would do that. Just look at CART & what they tried to do. For a while they did over half their season at ovals which the moron who owns indy started IRL + you have Nascars & all that junk...... I feel open wheels cars do not belong at ovals..... it's just not what they are designed for & FORTUNANTLY CART is waking up & dropping all but 2 ovals this year which means I will follow the series again :)
I feel the reason why in years past F1 has been boring with some cars lapping the enitre field is due to the pretty much unlimited budgets teams can use. You have ferarri which supposidley has $700,000,000 BUDGET vs other teams who only have $150,000,000 thus how can they compare???? Thus if they would put a cap on the teams bidget it owuld help & I feel their new aerodynamic rules will also help equal the field.
