I'm not trying to start anything or bash anyone here but how can you or anyone else that is a true fan of F1 even suggest they put an oval in the series. Who ever came up w/ oval racing in the first place has absolutely no imagination not to mention how unsafe it is. Look back at Ralf's last 2 crashes at the USGP for example. Had he been on the infield section of the track & not coming off of the banked turn his injuries may very well have not happened. I will agree that in this last race the pits played a big part in the outcome but if you can’t see that it comes down to the driver being able to push to the limits of himself & the car to open the gap to allow him to stay in the lead then you’re missing the point. If Button had pushed harder he might have had a much better chance for 2nd or at least we could have seen Alonso pass him for second but he was not aggressive enough when he was behind Montoya.
