I feel the speeds that F1 cars would do at ovals would also be VERY unsafe!!! I would guess 20-50mph faster then a IRL or CART car due to how much more leniant the aerodynamics regulations are in F1. They also do not do restrictor plates to keep speeds down so I would guess 6-8G's EASY in the banked turns which a body just cannot take.

I hate ovals because there is no passing in my eyes. It's all about drafting & who pulls who along vs roadcoarses where you have to outbreak the person or setup to out accelerate them.

Now dirt track ovals are a LOT of fun to watch!!! Eldora is a AWESOME place to watcfh racing!!!!

CART definantly went through some tough time which I mostly blame Tong George for. Fortunantly the present owners were able to keep it out of Tony's posession thus with some luck the series wil turn around. CART use to be a TON of fun to watch with excellent racing at every race! Loved to go to Mid-Ohio to watch them tear up the track.
