I'm glad I haven’t upset you w/ my reply. To be honest if you want to see me sleep put on oval racing. To me it is like watching bowling on TV & I like to bowl but I can't stand to watch it on TV. An F1 driver is the pinnacle of fitness as is their car & putting them on an oval track would be nothing more then an insult to both of their ability. Do you remember when the USGP came to Indy in '00? The only concern they had was if the tires could handle the load on the banked turn. Obviously they could until last year but that was not Michelin’s fault it was Toyota's for running lower then recommended tire pressure. They never questioned the cars ability or the drivers. The reason you see these other drivers complain is because they won't commit themselves to the same level of training an F1 driver does. If you want to see a great F1 race then ask for them to reopen the original Nurburgring and not for an oval. F1 has always been about who has the deepest pockets & in some cases the best driver. What they (Max & the FIA) need to do is to stop making yearly changes to the same thing & have them something like every 4-5 years so the teams can adjust & the new ideas can be fine tuned on the side before they put them into practice.
