Reading the specs on the link page you posted, it doesn't look like the unit actually has an HDTV tuner, it can just display HDTV.
"HDTV: Yes, thru HDMI or Component YPbPr."
But maybe the spec page isn't accurate and it DOES have the actual tuner in it?
If you shop around, you can probably do a little better, though you won't be able to try it out in person, maybe, unless you can find a local place that you can go view at. For example, Newegg has a Hyundai right now that does have an HDTV tuner built in for $600 + $50 shipping. (Model E320D)
It's got 30 reviews, most of them give it the best rating... and none give it the worst.
