I have had a 37" Vizio for about 9 months now. Watching HDTV is great. Watching some of the local channels not in HD is not so good. I have not tried hooking up my computer to it yet.
As far as what AeroDave said, the unit DOES NOT have a tuner. You will need a set top to get HDTV (I have one from the local cabel provider).
If what you say is true i might not spent the money for a flat panel HDTV. If your not receiving a HD signal why spend the money. If you plan on getting an HD antenna go for it. I spent 3 days driving from box store to box store and several hours on the internet and went with the VIZIO, with no regrets.
