After talking to a friend of a friend who is a criminal lawyer according to NM statutes the ticket is in essence a sworn affidavit. When the officer failed to properly print and sign his name on the ticket he actually in fact did not complete the affidavit. Which in turn means the document is null and void. He has agreed to represent me for a VERY small fee (tee time at 1030 on friday). Thanks for all the great info and support from everyone here.

And just to clarify for the naysayers, I never said I was doing 61 and I never said I wasnt doing 61. In all honesty I cant recall exactly how fast I was going and have no need to incriminate myself. My point was the fact that the officer in my eyes and now according to the law didnt do his job properly. God forbid if he was the investigating officer of a much more serious offense. Mercy on that soul.
