In theory, yes! You should be able touser your sim chip on any GSM phone in the US. Europe is a bit diff. However, one catch is that these phones "used" to have a lock on them that would prevent you from swiching carriers. The key is a number based on the manufacturer, model and serial # ofthe phone.
Two things:
1- If you get a good CSR, they will give you the code so you can unlock your phone.
2- Bad csr, they wont give you the code and they'll point you to a web site that for $5, will give the key to unlock your phone.
My info is about 3 years old, so this may no longer be a problem as we're down to two gsm players ATT & T-Mobile.
