neither! And here's why:
You're just starting out. Keep it simple. There is a lot of uncertainty and expenses just out of college so try to minimize them. Yeah, you have a job but what happens if it doesn't turn out a good as you had hoped? Don't tie yourself down with a lot of bills just out of school.
I say put some money in the car you've had for the last 6-ish years. This way you know exactly what your getting into; you know how it was driven and maintained. You don't really know this when you buy a used car. You may just end up with somebody else's headache (intentionally or not). Put some money into your car to get it to run for another 4-5 years so you can focus on building your career, paying off student loans, and getting a new place to live. Once you move out of Mom and Dads place, you'll be surprised how expensive everything is!
Now is the time to begin to live below your means. Hold off a bit for that new car and pay off your "substantial" loans. Then in a couple years, start the process of looking for a low-mileage, well maintained Viggen (or M3 - you can't go wrong with either of them).
