Just wondering if anyone wanted to chime in on moving situation and new work area. First, I live in Erie, CO, but I just accepted a job in Northbrook, IL. This past Friday, I said, "sure I'll start in two weeks from Monday." My wife wasn't too pleased about that, but she understands. So now I've got to move to Northbrook, IL, find a place to stay, try to find a house to rent, etc. In addition, I've got to sell my house and get rid of my two old Saabs ('92 900 cvt. and '86 900T) which I'm very sad about.

But enough rambling. I was looking for advice on anyone that knows the area around Northbrook. The immediate area is pretty affluent, but I don't want to commute too far, so I'm looking in Highland Park, Riverside, Deerfield. However, I'm completely unfamiliar with the area so if anyone wants to make any good suggestions that would be much appreciated. I plan on renting a house for now as we try to sell the other one.

Also, I got a relocation allowance, however, I've got to make all of the moving arrangements. So, if anyone has any advice on finding a good moving company that won't rip you off, I would appreciate it.

I'm sure that I'll have more questions later, but that's it for now.
