I understand that out in the real world, not everybody is as interested in cars as we are on Saabnet, but I recently had a ride in a Chevy Venture minivan and I couldn't believe what an appalling vehicle it was and how anybody could put up with owning one. I am not anti-minivan; my wife borrowed this one from work so we could go pick up a freezer, so I appreciate its utility.
After about 5 minutes of sitting in the passenger seat, though, my back was killing me. The front of the seat ended about halfway down my thigh and gave zero support. There was no way of adjusting the seat to make it comfortable.
Then on I-94 near Detroit Metro airport there are some sections of road that are grooved for some reason, and the van started tramlining and lurching side to side horribly. It was very disconcerting.
On the plus side, we did easily fit a 20 cu ft upright freezer in the back - my 9k has impressive cargo carrying capacity but this was beyond its limit!
