Chevy seats are not too good as Noel mentioned. However, I think Saab seats are not as good as they used to be. Somehow, I think my classic 900 seats were more comfortable than the 9-3SS. The new seats are reasonably good but they seem to give a bit less support. They are also slippery unlike the grippy cloth seats in the old 900.
Not all European things are better. A relative has had E class Mercedes' for quite a few years. Everything is so hard for the do it yourselfer to do that I no longer even try to do things on that car. The classic 900 had problems with a sagging headliner. It seems that everybody got the disease eventually! Other friends who kept their cars 10-15 years didn't have this problem. My classic 900 also had some graffiti inside the car that I saw once when the car was being repaired. Some bored guy at the factory drew some doodle on the inside of the trunk liner with a black marker!
