Want to Become a Saab Mechanic

After years of driving Saabs and being very attuned to their nature and tired of dealing with stubborn people who dont believe me when I say its the alternator! and they fix everything else but and charge me a lot of money...
I want to learn how to fix the car myself and offer service to people looking for a detail-oriented thoughful mechanically apt mechanic, someone they can trust. In my years being around Saab and in and out of Saab garages, I've had a few examples in my life of great mechanics that reflect on the greatness in design and engineering of the Saab.
I have an extensive education and have worked in fields of technology and have done minor things on cars, installed stereos, adjusting cabling but always been too afraid to go any further as I might fuck the car up. But I want to not be afraid anymore and pursue this in all seriousness. Any advice?
