Wow what an interesting idea. IMHO. if anything the 9-3 base would have the potential to have the lowest longetivity if it is driven the same as you drive your VIggen. Here's my reasoning. Since the 9-3 base engine is less powerful than the Viggen engine, in order to achieve the same performance level one would have to run the engine harder. Thereby, stressing the engine more. As far as the Viggen vs. the 9-5, I would think that the 9-5 would be under greater strees due the the greater weight to move. Power in and of itself is not an indicator of engine longevity. A large 6 liter V-8 producing 300hp could be quite under-stressed compared to a 2 liter 4 cylinder putting out 200hp. Although modern engines are more highly stressed than the engine from American cars of the 50's and 60's, improvements in lubricants and materials have kept up with the changes. The fact that your Viggen puts out more hp and torque than my 9-3 base; 1) shouldn't effect its relative longevity and 2) under similar driving conditions should be less stressed than my 9-3 base.
